"The Closer I Get, the Less I See" is a project that invites viewers to explore the emotional landscape of the digital era, where the juxtaposition between increasing connectivity, a profound sense of alienation, and the boundaries between reality and simulation are completely blurred. As we draw closer to the vast possibilities offered by technology, a growing sense of disconnection and unreliability often accompanies us, leaving a longing for genuine human experiences in its wake.

The works presented follow a range of techniques that have been mixed together in different magnitudes. From traditional photography to evolved forms of it: Screenshots, 3D scans, computer-generated images in virtual environments, and image-to-image generations with the use of AI tools.
