About:

A portrait photo of Itai Lifschitz

BIO:

Itai Lifschitz (born 1994) grew up between Israel and Argentina, an experience that shaped his sense of identity and created a unique relationship with each new environment he encountered. These formative years heightened his awareness of how different surroundings and experiences influence our perception of the world.

Itai is deeply interested in how evolving media affects society, particularly the relationships between individuals and between people and technology. Through diverse mediums such as photography, video, CGI, artificial intelligence, and game engines, he explores the complexities of the social structures that define our lives.

With a critical eye, he examines socio-political landscapes, the fluidity of identity, and society’s responses to rapid technological changes. His work often carries a dark humor, addressing themes of utopia and dystopia, alienation, and disorientation.

Through his creations, Itai challenges the viewer to reconsider the familiar in new and unexpected ways. He provokes thought on the systems that shape our reality, asking how we navigate the blurred lines of truth and disinformation, and how meaning can emerge within the constantly shifting terrain of modern life.
