BIO:
Itai Lifschitz (b. 1994) is a media artist and game designer based in Israel. His practice critically examines the influence of emerging technologies on social structures and human perception, working across the fields of game engines, artificial intelligence, CGI, and photography.
Shaped by his fragmented cultural background and the many transitions between homes—most notably between Israel and Argentina—his work serves as a space for investigating displacement and fluid identity at the interface of the digital and the physical.
A graduate in Photography (B.F.A) and a current M.Des. candidate in Game Design at Shenkar, Lifschitz explores the logic of interactive experiences and sensing technologies to challenge the homogenization of the gaze and conventional perceptions of reality. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the Edmond de Rothschild Center, Ein Hod Art Gallery, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
